Airbrush tanning is a new and safe way of achieving a golden look without the risks of skin cancer often associated with overexposure from the sun or from a tanning bed. Using an airbrush, a fine mist of bronzer is applied to the body and face. Better Bronze is an airbrush tanning business that comes to you, or you can schedule an appointment to visit us.Our mobile services include the Austin, Texas area. Depending on where you are, additional travel fees may be required.The Better Bronze tan lasts approximately 7 to 10 days depending on your lifestyle and skin type. With follow-up applications, you can maintain your tan indefinitely. Using moisturizer on your skin daily helps keep your tan looking great.

Once the tan is set, the formula will not rub off on clothing or wash off in the pool. An airbrush-applied tan will fade gradually, just like a “real” suntan. The airbrush tan is completely safe and is FDA approved. Please note: The airbrush tanning solution does not contain UV protection. Always wear sunscreen. Airbrush tanning gives a natural, golden-brown color. There is NO orange discoloration.

What is Airbrush Tanning?

Airbrush tanning gives you a beautiful natural-looking “California tan” without the long-term skin damage associated with UV exposure. If you’ve tried the Mystic Tan or booth spray tan, this tan is not the same! This is not a booth spray tan and won’t leave drips or streaks. A micro-fine mist is evenly applied over the body by a certified Airbrush Tanning technician.

How Does Airbrush Tanning work?

The FDA approved active ingredient, dihydroxyacetone (DHA), is derived from raw sugar cane and reacts with the proteins in the outermost layer of your skin to produce a golden brown color. DHA has been used safely over the years in numerous sunless tanning products. We use a premium quality product manufactured with the most advanced method available. Our solution allows for more natural color and longer-lasting results than similarly advertised products that cost more.

How Long Does The Airbrushing Process Take?

The entire process takes about 15 minutes.

How Long Does The Tan Last?

Your tan will last between 7 and 10 days, depending on how you care for your skin. The day after you get your tan, we recommend moisturizing daily to extend the life of your tan. We carry a moisturizing tan extender product that does the job perfectly!

You’ll want to avoid:

exfoliating
taking long hot baths or showers
wearing clothes that chafe
doing anything to encourage the skin to “shed,” or your tan will fade more quickly

What Do I Wear For My Airbrush Tanning Session?

If you are a woman, you may wear your own lingerie, our disposable thongs or opt for no tan lines at all. Men are required to wear underwear or a swimsuit.

AIRBRUSH TAN CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers needing to reschedule an appointment will be accommodated on an as-available basis
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged a cancellation fee
No shows, with no call will be charged the full price for the service

Also, it is imperative that you arrive on time for your appointment. Otherwise, there may not be time to complete your treatment before the next customer appointment.

CHILD SAFETY POLICY

Children are only permitted in the studio when having a service. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment.
